(Slightly).
The leaks continue. Two contests yesterday - 1 basketball, 1 hockey. Two dismal finishes. Who knew that Erik Dampier would be a stud? (Most everybody but me, that's who).
I do feel like my selections are improving at hockey (although the results don't show it), while I continue to have no clue about the NBA. As a result, I'll stick to the dollar multis until I have more confidence in these sports. You gotta keep the leaks under control.
I'm starting to get amped up for the next batch of football contests. I took a look at the schedule for this weekend and it seems to me like there are a lot of obvious plays, most of whom will be expensive (in terms of points) based on their production to date. This would be a good week to dig and find a sleeper or two to plug in so the rest of the roster can be stars. That's true every week, but you know what I mean.
Anyway, even if I didn't win at Fantasy Sports Live at least I had a good night in my regular fantasy league. I have one of the worst teams imaginable - this is what happens when you can't attend the draft - but have luckboxed my way to a winning record. This week got off to a good start with Cassel and Thomas Jones having big games against the Jets.
Hockey and basketball contests are up for Friday.
Thursday results: 2 contests entered (2-10 man, 0-6 man, 0 HU), 0 cashes (0,0,0), amount risked: $2, amount won: $0, net: ($2), ROI -100%
