Maybe I should retitle this blog "Taking Nights Off at Fantasy Sports Live".
Tuesday results: DNP, recovering from a bout of Brady Quinnitis*
Wednesday results: DNP, suspended for "violation of team rules".
Thursday results: DNP, pulled lumbar.
Instead of playing this week I've been kicking back and watching more games. Thanks to the miracle of the internet, I've seen more basketball than I've seen in years. Tonight, it's the Stillers-Bengals game. One of these days I might even watch some hockey. If I'm really fortunate, in "HD".
FSL hasn't been a complete washout. I'm in 3 contests so far for Sunday (football ldo). I'll probably rack up ten or so by the time I'm done - I'm thinking about going for more of a mix of heads up, 6 and 10 man instead of playing almost all ten man. I need to remember to get my picks in early, too - as much as I love lazing around on Sunday morning trying to figure out who to select, I have things to do this week.
Finally, I'm looking forward to the long Thanksgiving weekend which will probably be a sports smorgasboard filled with lots of contests.
Pick like a champion today.
* It makes me ill to root for Brady Quinn (who is now on my regular fantasy team). Seriously ill. Thus, Brady Quinnitis.
