The Fantasy Sports Live lobby currently lists a "Beginners Week 15" football contest in the lobby. My ace detective skills have determined that this is a 6 player event that pays 3 places instead of the usual two. Payouts are $14, $10 and $6 for first, second and third, respectively. $5.50 buyin.
The ranking cap is also a bit more generous than other contests, with 975 points to spend.
Otherwise, it appears to be a standard football contest.
Out of respect and fairness to beginners (and the fact that I'm on a plane in a couple hours), I think I will refrain from entering. You have no idea how hard it is to hold back...
