New rule: Don't have your defense going in the Sunday night game if at all possible. I had the Baltimore D in my two biggest contests of the week and was on the bubble in both at the half. The Baltimore offense coughed up the ball twice deep in their own territory, leading to 10 cheap Washington points (on less than 50 yards total offense), minus five for the defense and I figure it cost me between 20 and 30 bucks. Darn you Flacco and McGahee. Oh well, I guess I'll take the nervous energy considering that it was otherwise a pretty dull contest.
Overall results for the week were still favorable. I ended up in 20 contests. I killed the heads up matches and once again struggled in 10 players. Out of the money in both the Blogger Battle and in Sundays With Dr. Pauly. I slipped to 2nd in the Blogger Battle last week and could possibly drop to 3rd this week since Buffalo66 topped my score, but I don't think he'll pick up quite enough points.
